There’s a first time for everything…

Okay, folks. I’m about to attempt my first poetry “zine” for a swap, but I have NO effin’ clue what I’m doing. So if ANYONE has any useful pointers, please feel free to point away. I have some of my poetry all tucked away and ready to go in my little journal that I bought, oh… 1997…?? Holy Fuck. That’s like 17 years ago. God, I’m an old lady. It’s funny. Because sometimes I absolutely feel older than my years. Like I should be shuffling around with grey hair and a double sided walker. And then sometimes there’s this little part of me that wants to do teeny-bopper things like get some junk in my trunk (aka bass) and throw on some ATLiens while I cruise around the MCD’s parking lot on a Saturday night.  Oh well, screw it. When you’re young you want to be older and when you’re older you want to be young again. There is no in between, no happy medium. The grass is always greener on the other side.

Anyway, back to these “zines”… all I know is it has to be half page sized (8 1/2 x 5 1/2) and consist of my poetry. Is it supposed to be magazine cuttings? Or typed? Or hand drawn? What’s the dealy yo??
